St. Anthony's Chapel is located on Troy Hill, which overlooks the Allegheny River on Pittsburgh's North Side. This Shrine, dedicated to "The Wonder Worker" Saint Anthony of Padua, houses the largest public collection of relics in the World (almost 6000 relics) and has been designated a Historical Landmark by the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation. Many loving hands have kept this Chapel a place of warmth, healing and spiritual peace.
The Secular Franciscan Order has to privilege to volunteer at the Chapel. Voluteers are needed for:
- Chapel Sitters
- Pilgrimage Leader
- Seasonal Cleaning
The Franciscan Order has stewardship over many shrines in the Holy Land and we are offering you the opportunity to be the helping hands in the Lady Poverty Region. If you are interested in volunteering your time and talents or just want to organize a pilgrimage for your fraternity to Historic Saint Anthony's Chapel please contact:
